Get your vitamin D with the 70’s Sun Pattern Tester Parade!

I am always so grateful for my pattern testers. They are incredibly talented and wonderful people. This crew for 70’s Sun absolutely rocked it with their versions of the pattern! Let’s check them out!

Jessi @jessirash

Jessi’s cool style came across with her selection of darker shades for her wall hanging. To say I’m obsessed is an understatement!

Mary @embercraftcompany

Everything Mary makes is done with precision and accuracy. So when she told me she whipped up her throw sized topper in two hours while her kiddos had nap time, I was floored! So gorgeous Mary!

Maechen @maechenmarie

Maechen is a queen when it comes to colour. She wanted to revisit brown as a background colour and it just work so beautifully in her wall hanging.

Sophia @eastriver.stitch

Can you even get over how amazing this is? Sophia made this bed sized beauty in no time! That floral background has my heart!

Daphne @octopurse

I am always in awe of Daphne’s colour choices and hand quilting skills. She raised the bar again with her baby sized 70’s Sun quilt.

Katie @kitschandstitchcottonco

Hello beautiful quilt! Katie’s throw sized 70’s sun is giving me all the Autumn vibes with her choice of blender fabrics. Don’t you just want to cuddle up in this?

Emily @emsewsstuff

Pulling on my retro heart strings, Emily used the Flower Power collection for her wall hanging. She was able to use scraps from her Retro Ribbon quilt and co-ordinate!! I could not love this more!

Maggie @madeonsugarbushlane

Another retro fabric choice, was from Maggie, who chose to use this fabulous vintage print and then pull colours from it. Maggie, this throw has my heart!

Kristan @mustardcottonco

Kristan made this jaw dropper wall hanging with her modern and neutral colour palette. You can pick your jaw up anytime now. LOL! Amazing!

Emily @emand.bear

Emily chose such a cool way of using prints for her 70’s Sun throw: using different colour ways of the same print! How cool is this quilt!?

Maggie @maggiegracecreative

Looks like Maggie isn’t the only one enjoying her baby size 70’s Sun quilt! I mean check out those fabrics aaaaand the backing! Swooning!

Amy @amyjohnstonrobertson

Last but certainly not least is my friend Amy who will keep you constantly in awe with her amazing makes. Amy nails it with her choice of Ruby Star fabrics and was another tester to whip up her throw size topper at nap time!

This crew was absolutely phenomenal with their makes, and I am so grateful to them all for their hard work! I encourage you to follow these amazing makers on Instagram for all sorts of inspiration.

The 70’s Sun quilt pattern will be released on October 6th!

Until next time friends,

Keep it Quilty!

Maude

  1. I love the pattern not just for the simplicity but also the boldness. And the testers really sparked inspiration on how to make this pattern your own in a variety of colors and sizes. Beautiful.
